Alrigh Ladies & Gentlemen,

The question of the day...

For my 35g cube that will be in the dinning room with the filtraiton and such in the basement, what pump would you recommend for medium turnover with approximately 15 feet of overhead?

I've done a bit of research but haven't been able nail down exactly what option I'm looking for...

Thoughts?

External or submersible? Here are some options that would work, but it is hard to find something with a lower flow due to the smaller display tank...

External:
PanWorld 100PX
PanWorld 150PS
Iwaki WMD-40RLT
Little Giant 4-MDQX-SC
Reeflo Blow Hole BH850

Submersible:
Mag Drive 18

Yopu are basically stuck going external for efficiency and selection options... The blowhole would give you the best speed selection to adjust for the tank size than the rest.

I heard that you have to do maintenance on the Reeflo... That true?

Yes once a Month u you remove one screw on the top and clean in
Takes less then 3 secs

Do you have to place on a rubber mat or anything for the vibrations?

After a lot of research, Just put in my order for an 850... ;-)
