Hey all, looking for suggestions for a cost effective pump to pump from my basement to my main floor. Maybe 40 feet of hose and maybe 10 feet up.

I was suggested the jebao 15000 but almost seems a little overkill since it handles like 7m of head.

To clarify, are you trying to go from your RODI filter up a story, for which you don't need a pump? Or, do you have a bucket or barrel of RODI water that you necessarily need a pump to pump the water upstairs?

Gotcha! I’ve never pumped water up that high, so I’ll let others recommend a pump for that. I do run an RO water line from the filter up one story to my kitchen, that works fine from the house water pressure, no pump needed. Good luck!

A sump pump from Harbor Freight will do the job easily.
That's a good idea but I read that the metals in the pump can be bad for the tank?

Personally have a hard time believing that a split second of contact with metal but I'm 100% new at reefing.

I'll have to research that a little more unless someone here knows.

Our version of harbor freight here in canada is called princess auto. 1 of my favorite stores!
