Pump maintenance

Been using jerepet pumps for a while now what do you use to get them going after they stop I use vinegar and warm water but I have 2 now I can’t seem to get going again. They say to take impeller off but it doesn’t come off any help I heard maybe muriatic acid but not sure if that’s a good thing

How to clean and replace the impeller?​

Step 1, remove the intake screen cover by pressing and pulling the cage off the front of the pump;
Step2, remove the screws securing the pump body cover to the pump body.

How to clean and replace the impeller?​

Step3,pull the pump cover to the right to removed the pump cover body;
Step4,pull the impeller out of the pump body.

How to clean and replace the impeller?​

Step5:clean the internal pump body with a mild acid, such as white vinegar or non-abrasive calcium if the internal pump body have excessive scale build-up, using soft-bristled brush or a sponge that won’t scratch the stainless steel;

How to clean and replace the impeller?​

Step6,using soft-bristled brush or a sponge to clean the rotor and impeller;replace it if the shaft broken;

Overnight in citric acid with a powerhead will clean anything back to factory condition.
