I was thinking of getting a Maxspect Jump 8 for my 50 gallon SPS cube.

I could get a Maxspect 6, but it is essentially the same size and price as the Maxspect 8. Since I plan on upgrading to a larger tank in a few years, so I was wondering if there are any downsides to getting the Maxspect 8 instead of the Maxspect 6?

Also, if there are any good/interesting alternative pumps, that could also be worth a look.

I am uber noob, but a bit of a gear junkie, so I don't mind the high prices.
