Not sure what you’re doing but a Sicce 0.5 with an adjustable valve might work for you?

I want to get some flow over the large matt of GSP I put in my refugium and I want to pull the chaeto. The sicce ph and nano pump I have, just go full blast; kick up a lot of detritus. I am going to do a clean up of the sump for some of that but I'd rather have detritus settle in the sump because I run sockless/rollerless...so just wanted gentle x flow. Have some baby benggais in the refugium too and they struggle if I plug either of those in... Like I said, trying to figure it out still... Thanks

Keep in mind I like a lot of flow in my tanks but I have a jebao power head in my 5 gallon. . .

I'm all for flow, that's why I'm asking :) Just looking for a proper sized one perhaps. I don't need 'turnover' flow however; prefer a slower sump flow stream

Can you tee off from your return line and add a pipe (with a valve) that flows into the fuge?

I definitely could and that's something I hadn't considered until now. Thank you

I considered doing this with my Eshopps R-200 since the flow through the fuge is minimal. But then I switched from chaeto to caulerpa (which doesn't require as much "tumbling") and never did.

I'm thinking about pulling the chaeto and letting the gsp and xenia take over. Mine has never tumbled fwiw but grows great. Not sure yet on the pluses and minuses vs chaeto though. Either way I want to get at least some gentle flow over them without killing the lil baby cardinals :thinking-face:

I'd put some Xenia in and see if it pulses ok. Other than detritus removal, the existing flow might be enough.

Here's the little ones in the last pic when the light was on in ref. They're on the opposite schedule down there.. They were tank bred at my lfs. I'm getting ready to do a big cleanup of the fuge to get rid of the algae and arrange the heaters better, etc so don't mind the mess. :) Just set this up a few months ago and have just been letting it do its thing...but now it's time to take over a bit. I did hang the little sicce pump I have higher toward the surface and that's moving some water now at least and they're doing fine with that....still want a better solution, maybe controllable... :thinking-face:
