I saw a while ago that Alyssa Seahorse Savvy got in some of these really beautiful "Purple Anthogorgia" Non-Photosynthetic Gorgonians. From what she told me, my feeding regime of Live BBS, PhytoFeast, OysterFeast, etc a few times a day is good for them and they haven't been that hard at the facility which gives me a lot of hope. What makes me a bit nervous is that no one seems to be keeping them so I can't find any tips. Has anyone kept them in the past / is keeping them now? I think they're gorgeous and would be a stunner in my NPS Tank

I can’t help with the specific question but I can bump the thread to see if we can get you some attention

Did you end up getting it? If so how did it go? I just got a Indonesian warted anthogorgia, gets here friday. Would love to know how it went for you.

Just ordered one from Alyssa. Will see how it goes, other gorgorians are doing fine, spoke to her and it seems it will work in my tank.
Indonesian wasted sounds interesting.

I have one of these for a little while now. I find them intolerant of strong lighting. It is doing better since I moved it into full shadow and moderate flow. Their feeding, according to some research, is most effective at certain flow rates across their branches. I could not find "x" flow rate specified but I kind of guessed that what is about right for seahorses would be about right. So far it seems to be working ok. They are beautiful!

I have one that was placed towards the back of tank, ended up rusty orange looking and full of algae. I moved it forward to give it more flow, it’s back to lavender with yellow tips.
