In a 180g aquarium

would they kill my blue/green chromis??

No. Dottybacks will spend most time low in the tank in and out of live rock. Your blue/green will occupy the mid to upper tank space. I have never had an issue mixing the two in a large tank

Mine was evil in my 10 gallon QT tank and killed one of the two firefish that were in it with him. The firefish were forced to hide the entire time and if they came out it would attack. After a few days of this I decided I would move them to the DT tank to end the problem and take the risk. At this time I made this decision my GF announced that dinner was ready so I resolve to move the 3 fish right after dinner.... in that 30 minutes it killed one of them.

After the move there was no more drama moving it into the 180 gallon display tank with the other 15 fish. Hasn't bothered anyone since.

The orchid/fridmani dotty is the one you want, if you are keeping other small fishes.
