Does any one know where I can find a male Purple Queen Anthias? I know my females will morph sooner or later but I don't want to wait, I want a male to come boss around those ladies and get them out around the tank.

If they are eating well, one will change relatively quickly. Males have an even worse track record than the already dismal females in terms of surviving in captivity after collection. How long have you had them? How are you feeding them? One of the only long term success stories I've personally read about involved automatic feeding of live and frozen food constantly throughout the day. HTH and GL!

I was wondering if having an automatic feeder on 5 times a day would be enough to keep these guys. Are these fish even possible to keep?

It has to be mysis/cyclopeeze...etc? 5 times a day?

It has to be whatever they will eat (which is often very little), and yes, 5 times a day at least. There is a reason you don't see these anthias in your average reef, long term.

I feed mine about 4 times a day. They get a mix of mysis, cyclopeeze, artic pods, Rotie feast and they love prawn eggs. It's key to have a large skimmer to skim out the extra food I run a huge ATB 1050a on just a 72 gallon, this skimmer is way to big for my tank but I bought it for when I soon upgrade to a 150. always make sure they are in good health and eating before you buy them and find out what they have already accepted as food, keep the on that and try new stuff as they get more used to your tank, these fish also benefit form being introduced as a school. I have noticed they wait a few fish start doing something then all will start to copy and do the same.
