I have a purple whip (bright purple branches with brown polyps) for over a year and it looks great but I don't believe it has grown a centimeter since I saved it. Originally it was thought to be dead so I got it for free from Lfs. It immediately opened up in my tank and always looks good just not growing

They are slow growers. I've had mine for 3 or more years and it hasn't grown more than an inch. You can spot feed it oyster feast and it will grow a little bit faster.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
