I really like this coral but I'm scared cause I don't have a skimmer

I really like this coral but I'm scared cause I don't have a skimmer

People always ask, what's the most important piece of equipment. I really think "it depends".

For coral though, after lights and an RODI unit, I personally think a skimmer runs a close third along with a refugium full of macro algae.

Skimmerless is an increasingly popular way to go, but, I wonder if starting skimmerless is a way to go. I mean, removing a skimmer from a mature system is different than starting without one, perhaps.

Anyways, lots of really goods ones always available on here Josh.
