purple stylo not growing

Had this in the tank for just over a year now, started of with one stick that stripped so I cut off the dead tissue leaving just a tiny piece, it's gradually based out quite a bit and seems healthy but doesn't seem to want to grow branches, there are signs of growth but very slowly. Will it just take off eventually?

All I can tell you is to give it time, they come in their own on their time.

Looks good to me. Mine is in fairly stiff flow. Polyp closed light off pic is late July, other is late September
