Yea here in my city their expensive , $200 plus for a medium size , plus I got it cause it's tiny , never seen one this small.

i have one thats roughly 6 inches in length. Very cool fish to have! But do not mix them with yellow tangs!!

i got mine from a teardown tank. Owner said they paid 150 for theirs and bought it at like an inch or so. Along with my 2 hippos, they are the center pieces to my tank for sure!

Picked one of these up at Reef-A-Palooza for $85. It's about 1.5". Very cool fish indeed and very active in the tank.

You should all think yourselves lucky. I live in Australia & won't get any sized purple here for less than $350. But yellow tangs are $150 too. This is my fella Hope you don't want to add any other fish to that tank they will be extremely territorial & aggressive with ANY newbies very quickly
