Purple Tang

Hello all,

I have a purple tang in a 180 with with 8 other fish. He has this thing sticking out of his mouth, I think haha. Wasn't there last night or this morning. Fish is eating still, a lot, and his swimming around acting normal.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yea I might try to catch him for further investigation, maybe he tried to eat something he shouldn't have.

IMO if he doesn't expel it soon, I would try to net him and pull it out

It was something stuck to his mouth. It fell out on its own.
