I purchased an Apex breakout box and wanted to setup some push buttons and toggle switches for things like a feed mode button, cleaning mode, etc. I've been searching for enclosures and panels but they all just look kind of dull and bulky. I'd like something a little smaller profile and modern looking. Please share some examples if you have something that looks good and where you got your panel, enclosure or buttons.

I’m still in the midst of a tank build, but I’ve been thinking of a portable network rack to sit next to my stand/cabinet:
Search on Amazon or eBay for “Navepoint rack” and you’ll a few different unit heights. Features that appeal to me include:
  • 19” rack to mount UPS (battery backup)
  • A fabricated piece of plywood or acrylic to mount Apex components
  • Removable side panels for easy access to neatly coiled cords and wires
  • Smoked glass to show off your valuable gear
  • Key-lockable to keep kids and nosy uncles from causing a tank crash
  • Primary online complaints are the non-lockable wheels, but I would place floor protectors under the wheels to keep them from rolling
And yes, I’ll eventually share pics in a Build post. Please share pics if this works for, too.

This isn't an enclosure, but it's an idea. I took some scrap acrylic and made an L with some holes in it that I mounted inside the door of my sump. Now I have a toggle switch to turn on the sump lights and 2 buttons to activate FeedA and FeedB modes.
