Hi folks,
If rock has been out of a tank for several years and has no odor, does it still need to be cycled/cured before putting it in a tank that is already established with existing rock, or can I just put it in?

With the assumption that the rock has nothing hidden within it or on it then there should be no concern, and that would be fine.

Essentially, that rock will become liverock as it slowly becomes populated with microscopic life.
