Trying to reuse some 1" and 3/4" unions but are missing the o-rings. At 10 and 8 bucks a pop I really don't want to buy whole new unions when I just need the o-rings but I can't seem to find direct replacements on the website for the big box stores. There are these o-ring kits but then it becomes a matching game and don't really want to deal with it either. Can't believe these aren't more readily available.

Can anyone point me to ones that will work? The unions are the Apollo ones from HD.

Do you have an Ace or True Value hardware store near you? They have a much better selection than the big box stores.

I do but the one nearby is quite small. Would think it would be the opposite, no?

Every brand and size will be different. There is no standard for this type of fitting. There are hundreds of standard o-ring size and diameter combinations and possibly some of these companies don’t even use a standard, but rather an in-house size. The same with RO filter housings, etc.

All you can do is test fit or use some calipers and measure then search.

A place like a power transmission shop, where they sell roller chain, bearings & things for industrial repairs will be your best bet. When I needed something, they carried a big selection.
