I have never had either of these fish and generally know nothing about them, but it really all comes down to how much risk you're willing to accept.
Here are the things I would consider:
1. Are these fish territorial or aggressive?
If they are likely to kill each other off while held in a confined space for several weeks I would do them separately. Either one at a time through the single QT tank, or add another QT setup.
2. How large are they?
Two small fish in a 10 gallon is less risk than two large fish in a ten gallon (or one large and one small).
3. How expensive are they?
If they're expensive you might want to improve your chances of a good outcome by getting a second QT tank. Having two fish in a 10 gallon is more risk than just one.
