Hey guys, I’ve had a powder blue in QT since 7/31. Today is day 2 of the second prazi dose. The bacteria bloom I’m having is the worst that I’ve ever experienced. I did a 7g WC 2 nights ago before the dose. I have an air stone, hob and powerhead blasting the surface. Should I cut this second round short with another WC or is the fish fine with the added oxygen. Btw he’s seems unaffected and is still eating like a pig.

Reduce white light intensity, add hang on power filter and remove carbon which will remove medication

I can reduce the light. I do have a hob filter on the tank, I had mentioned that previously. So basically you’re saying ride it out? I know that oxygen depletion is the main concern, I was just making sure no other issues could arise from the bloom

It’s ugly more than anything. Carbon or chemipure will clear it up but not while medicating
