Can inverts live at 81-82 degrees (for 45-day shortened fallow period)?
Context: I have a new display tank (Marco dry rock; CaribSea live sand) and QT tank. Both cycled; nothing in either one. I've ordered TB Saltwater premium live rock for more biodiversity for display tank. Will then ramp up lights (trying modified Lasse Method) and add early CUC.
First livestock will be a YWG / tiger pistol shrimp. While the goby is in the QT, can I put the pistol shrimp in the display tank and run it that warm? Or will I boil the shrimp, snails, and hermit crabs alive?
I know many people don't QT inverts, but since the display tank is up and I want to QT the fish, I can sort of do it as the first inhabitants of the display tank.
