I normally just do 1 new fish at a time, but will be getting a school of 10 anthias in. I usually just do TTM with great success but with a 10g tank I feel like that is too small for 10 fish.

Should I get a bigger tank and do Copper or will 10 of the same fish be fine in a 10g for 2 weeks of TTM if I also use an ammonia reducer? My temp holding QT is 30g that I move all fish to after TTM.

I also thought about doing TTM in batches of like 3-5 fish at a time.

Looking for all input.

Thanks!

How big are the anthias? Putting 10 of them in just a 10 gal is going to be tight unless they are very small.

They are small. 1-2" each.

It's a tough call, because you might be able to get away with it if you dose an ammonia reducer daily. But the safe bet would be to use a pair of 20 gals for TTM, or one 20 gal with cycled biomedia should be fine if you wanted to go the copper route. IME; anthias handle chelated copper (e.g. Copper Power) better than Cupramine.
