Hey everyone just got the new quanta helix in and wanted to give a shout out to Luca for all the help. Got home from work yesterday and just popped it up to see what it looked like. First of all this tank has been all about keeping it simple and economical, so building a t-slot mount or ceiling mount was a no go. Also have lids for the eel so didn’t want to mess with tank mounts. The 3-D printed mounts from quanta are actually pretty secure and really nice, incredibly simple as well. The light itself is really nice and surprisingly heavy, build quality is beyond its price point. Was pretty worried about a bright white from this light but it seems like a solid balance and enough pop that I absolutely don’t regret the reef crest. Anyone stacking this with the meso blue?
