I am ready to add another fish to my tank. I have had low success rates with establishing sand sifting gobies. I am wanting to setup an observation/quarantine tank for a new goby but I want to have a higher success rate. What size tank can I use for a small/medium goby? Should I include sand? and what type? If I need to supply live food, what is the best way to harvest pods from my display/refugium?

You don't need sand in a QT tank; I would just use PVC pipe instead. A 5-10g tank would be sufficient!
