I'm getting a couple new fish today. I set up a QT yesterday with 50% water from my display and 50% RODI/salt mix. Also pulled some media from my DT filter for use in my QT. My question is, do I need to add nitrifying bacteria to the QT? If so, is this good enough? (I used BIO Spira with my DT but that would be an hour drive to get that VS 10 minutes to get API). I just know I read something about water treatments causing the copper to break into toxic form and want to double check I won't have that issue with this(or any other treatment)!
