After losing all my fish 4 weeks from velvet got my new quarantine tank up and running today . All fish will start in this for 14 days now before introducing them to my main tank . Any suggestions on this would be very welcome 🙏

I recommend a couple of saltwater safe plastic plants for some vertical safe zones/hiding areas. Maybe some pvc hides as well?

Are you medicating the fish at all? Agree that 14 days is a risk.

14 should be fine in copper.

I would just add a week of observation in the tank since you have them in there anyways

Current quarantine protocol.

If you do decide to add plastic plants as suggested above, make sure that there's no metal in them.
110% I'd follow Jay H's protocol linked above; 30 days in Copper Power, then three rounds of PraziPro, then observation and copper again before transfer.

I believe some suggest using silk plants as some plastic plants can potentially injure fish, but in general plastic decorations are good as they are inert and won't interact with the medications.

Not every fish can handle this protocol, so do your research, but for the ones that can, I'd do a full medicated QT as described in Jay's article.
