Question about Angle Iron

so i am using this Angle Iron to make my light rack and i wanted to see if anyone knew if it would rust??

To be safe i plan on painting it with POR 15 to seal it but wanted to reach out here to see if anyone has used angle irons and if they had issues?

Yes, it definitely will rust. You would be better off using a metal primer, like this:

Whoops I posted the wrong paint. You have new metal and should use this, also comes in red. (I'm a GC)

With clean metal the biggest concern is adhesion not coverage, that's what the difference is.
