I'm wanting to start dosing phytoplankton with a brs doser. I've seen people use a small refrigerator for the bottle of phyto. My question is as long as I have an air pump for the bottle will I need to keep it cold? If I keep it under my stand with air and no light will it survive?

Depends on the manufacturer I think. I use Area51 Phytoplankton and it has an expiration date and keep refrigerated stamp on it. Plus it's best to shake the bottle every time I use it to keep it from settling. I not sure if those guys shake theirs daily or what they do.

I also culture my own. I just have it under my stand, no light or air pump, but only enough to last a week.
