Question about drop shipped tanks

I just ordered a Reefer 425 G2+ and the place I ordered says it will be drop shipped and I was wondering what to expect as far as the shipment process goes, I've never had something "drop shipped"
1)I'm guessing it comes on a pallet?
2)Does the shipping company vary?
3)Do they have the means to bring it up my driveway and into my garage (9% grade short driveway)?
4)What if it comes shattered do I refuse delivery?

5. Cancel the order and don’t get a Red Sea or you’ll be doing this again in 2-3 years when the seam fails.

When I ordered mine it was delivered on a semi truck with a lift gate. He put it in my garage with the pallet jack thankfully because they are very heavy.
Yes absolutely look it over and make sure there is no obvious damage.

Yes, it’ll come in some sort of a screwed together wood box strapped to a pallet. You’ll probably get pre shipping instructions about when your shipment is coming and who is shipping it by the freight company. They will usually call you right before they arrive (15-20min) .Be prepared to hand the driver a few bucks to roll it up your driveway. They are only obligated to drop it curbside if that’s all that was included. I think like Innovative Marine shipping is in to garage included. Some will gladly help you out getting it to your garage for nothing it just depends on who you get and what kind of day they are having. You need to at least pull the top off the box while the driver is there so you can have them note any damage that was done during shipping and usually most companies will want you to accept the delivery even if it is damaged, but you need to note what is all damaged so they can file a claim with shipper before signing off on the delivery.

Thank you for the reply. It would need to be a motorized pallet jack my driveway is pretty steep going up. May have to split it up at the road and bring it up piece by piece. 750lbs sound about right? Thought I read that somewhere

I’m not sure exactly what it weighed. I think the tank alone for me was around 285lbs not including the stand. The stand will come in boxes which are fairly easy to manage.

Oh wow! I had a 425 G1 that my GF and I could carry easily. Guess the G2's are beefier

I got the 525 so I’m not sure of the size difference but either way I’m sure it’s going to be heavy.

One more question. Does the shipping company schedule delivery with me? It states it should arrive 1-3 weeks after shipment but I have a 4 day vacation coming up in 2 weeks and don't want it showing up then

Yes they did contact me and make sure I was going to be there. It was Estes I believe that delivered it.
Mine originally said 1-3 weeks I think but it was delivered in less than a week.
