Question about fish behavior.

I have a male and a female Pseudanthias pleurotaenia (square Anthias). The male spends a lot of time oriented in a nose down pose. Literally in a vertical nose down position, just hovering in the water column. He looks and acts (a voracious eater) completely healthy otherwise. I thought I would throw this out there to see if anyone else with a male square anthias displayed the same type of behavior.

I've seen several types of anthias including dispars and square spots use this pose around a group/harem of females and I assume it is their way of showing dominance. Maybe he's looking for a girlfriend.

This was my hunch also. He does have one female in the tank. Beggars can't be choosers.
