Finally (hopefully for real this time) I am going to start up my tank after I get my rock shipped this weekend (or whenever I get put on the schedule). I might want to order some live sand as well, but I just don't know if it's worth it. Is it as important as live rock? Also, can anyone who has used live sand in their tank show me their sandbeds? From the images I've seen online, live sand is pretty unkempt looking and the beach-sand look is something I really want for my tank, but I've seen maybe two real-world examples on this forum that were not super defined.

Thank you for any input.

Caribsea special grade is my favorite so far thati have tried. You could always put a little wild sand in your sump or a discrete corner if you want but it’s not necessary.
