Question about my elegance coral

Good morning everyone.

This morning I have noticed this strange white strings over my elegance. I am usually at work when he opens up and dont really get home until he is already pretty much closed for the night. My wife says that it has been there for the last couple of days.

Can you help me with what this is and should I be concerned.

I cant tell in the pic but sounds like messentrial filaments. Could be in defense or could be injured/dying.

Sorry for the late response. The forum actually didnt notify we that someone responded. I will try to make a better picture today. Thanks for the response. I didn't know if this was the Elegance Coral Syndrome or not. There is nothing next to him for him to be fighting against. He started off being huge and full, but like I said lately this is how he been lately.

Actually now that I think about it there is a flame scallop in front of him, but there is about 1-3 inches separation between them even when he is fulling extended.
