Is there anyone who's used - Dr. REEFS QUARANTINED FISH.COM - and what experiences' they've had with saltwater fish?

I've use him multiple times, and highly recommend. Great to work with, fish are great and never worry about disease.

My first order, I ordered a flasher Wrasse that didn't survive shipping (this was years ago before he started shipping two/found a healthier source) and the claims process was a breeze. I knew after that experience he would be my go to for fish if I don't want to run a full QT myself.

My most recent order was delivered in January this year. I got a Melanurus Wrasse and a tailspot blenny. Both healthy and now thriving.

I have only used his QT service level.

I just placed my second order for a flame angel and 3 royal grammas.
I'm very happy with the product and the service.

I JUST got my first order from them this week. One DOA claims was simple and easy. Rest of the order was perfect and eating right away

I have no experience and will not purchase from him for my own personal reasons not related to any purchase made. If you decide to purchase I highly advise not to allow Thursday shipping for Friday delivery unless that is the only day you can receive shipments. Delays happen quite often these days regardless of what the good doctor says. Delays on Friday end up sitting all weekend and don't get delivered until Monday and usually end up with the death of livestock. Delays on other days normally only cause a 24 hour delay so if things are packaged well there is still a good chance of survival. JMO so take it FWIW

Notice those saying not to order never have and have no experience. Those of us that have ordered, recommend them.

I’d bet the vast majority of people that have ordered from Mike would recommend him and order again.

No hate at all. The great thing about someone asking for opinions on vendors, equipment, or live stock is the gambit of responses. It gives them best and worst case they could experience. The person can then make a more informed decision on if they want to use (whatever it is).

That comment was meant for the lovers that piled on me when I gave the same advice about Thursday shipping to another member when I didn't even know who the vendor was. To me it's common sense not to order Thursday shipping for Friday delivery of livestock, especially with the delays that have been occuring post covid but some people took offence and acted like I was bad mouthing Dr reef because he ships on Thursday which is his business not mine. But for all I know the person asking may never have experienced the disappointment of a shipment of livestock sitting all weekend and arriving dead. I have so I caution against it regardless of who the vendor is.

I don't quite understand those who say they have no experience but would never buy. A review based on an actual purchase from a verified buyer is far more important and meaningful than a review from someone who never purchased. Crazy biased.

Raising flags where flags should be raised. It’s almost like you don’t think people take reviews into account when deciding where to purchase from lol. Not worth the risk if it’s a 50/50 shot

I have spent thousands of dollars with Dr Reef. All my fish in my 600 gallon system are from him. Yes there have been DOA's and loss along the way (minimal) and Mike has gone above and beyond to honor his guarantee's.

About the Thursday shipping for Friday delivery. Can we set aside emotional responses and critically think through this? Mike has a DOA and arrive alive guarantee. He is a business. If missed deliveries were actually an issue don't you think the first person to address it would be Dr Reef since its his money on the line for UPS's mishap?

I remember when I ordered a Gem Tang from Live Aquaria a few years back when they were $1000. It shipped Monday for Tuesday delivery and guess when I got it? Thursday. I was crapping my pants but surprisingly it lived.

Multiple day delays can and will happen regardless of weekends. Sure if a delay happens on a Friday its guaranteed to sit until Monday and I would suggest to do what you can to have it shipped Wednesday or Thursday but to go into multiple threads bashing a vendor you never use because you don't like a procedure of something that might happen is near sighted at best and childish at worst.
