hey reefers happy reefing. Question on how to hook up ozone how to do it and the best way to do it?

Multiple ways to do it, it will suppress your skimmer.

I see a popular way to do it is to hook it up to a separate skimmer or spare calcium reactor with recirculating chamber.

Make sure you use UV resistant tubing.

So I could hook it up to my reef octopus skimmer?

You can, but like I said don't be surprised if your skimmer output goes down, if that's important to you.
