Question before I start my cycle

Would it be beneficial to add a bottle of bacteria at the same time? I got access to some and if it'll help I'll pick it up

Thats entirely up to you. There are those that will do that, and those that will not. I don't use bacteria, so I wouldn't advise using it, I wait it out naturally.

You could use pure ammonia too (the hardware store kind without surfactants). It does the same thing and IMO is less stinky.
