Guys,

My MP10 makes a faint "squishing" noise as it vacillates with RPM. Sounds almost like a faint mourning dove call sound.

Is this "normal"?

TIA

Hey there.

Try adjusting the position of or reseating the wet side. Perhaps a silly question, but when was the last time you performed maintenance? Maybe time for a cleaning?

That's about all I've got. Hopefully someone else can be more helpful.

It's cleaned on a weekly basis. IME, shifting the two sides around does nothing to remedy the noise.

I have an MP10 in my display fuge that sometimes makes a whirring sound like you're describing, and a little twist usually does the trick. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

No worries. The pump doesn't make this noise when it's in a constant rpm mode. Only when a change in rpm does it emanate noise, so I was curious if this is a common phenomenon.
