Question on buying a rainbow chalice

When buying a rainbow chalice. Will a frag with only one color, grow all the Original 5 or more colors?
 
It might but it will take a very long time if it ever even does. Buy with as many colors as you can find.
 
+1 some will others may over years. That is why a rainbow chalice frag with great color combo will be 2-3 times the price of the single colored one. Even though they came from same mother colony.
 
Thanks for the reply!!! I've seen a few for sale lately with one maybe two colors. Similar to the WWC melting pot chalice. I don't want an all green or all orange one.
