Hello everyone. A few days into my cycle now and have been testing every day. Dumped a bottle of Fritz and put a frozen shrimp in to kickstart the cycle. It's been in their three days so I was wondering if I can just take it out now? My Nitrites have definitely spiked up to like 5.0 but there is still a small Ammonia reading of maybe .25-.5. I would assume the actively decaying shrimp is what is keeping the ammonia at detectable amounts and would zero out if i removed it. Would this be ok to do? Want to have a proper cycle.

Thanks!
