I just bought a new aquarium and there is a film on the inside, what can i clean it with? The aquarium had coraline algae and i scrapped it off and now i want to clean the glass but i dont know what to use. Please help.... i am planning on putting my fish and live rock etc from my other tank to the new tank

Fine or super fine (0000 or 00000) steel wool available from your local hardware, paint supply, or autoparts store. Your glass will be looking like new in no time! Method does not apply to acrylic unfortunately

i have tried the vinegar and the magic eraser, i think it is from where the coraline algae was...it is just the back and sides not the front.

Could be etching than you will be polishing it out. Time consuming. But can be done.
