ok so as the title states, I have a yellow coris (also known as canary) wrasse, he has been in quarantine for just over 3 weeks. he looks extra clean but I occasionally see him rubbing on the little rock in there, and a couple other things. the first time I saw him do it, I did a 30 minute cuprimine dip, but he still does it some times. I have seen other canary wrasses do this as well, but wanted to get the green light from the pros here just to be safe. I do have 2 juvi clowns in the dt and just want to look out for themthem. I have a green one that does that occasionally. Sometimes they are just trying to knock over the rocks to look for goodies to eat underneath.

I have 2 yellows. I see them do it too. Should be fine. Do you have a sandbed to sleep in? Mine will hide at night.

Wrasses do rub themselves from them to time..at least mine do that. I don't think it is ICH outbreak. A cleaner wrasse or neon goby will definitely help controlling the parasite.

Interesting. I have a coris wrasse but never seen him do that. But good to know so I won't be freaking out if I see him do it in the future!
