So I have a BC 29 that I want to add a sump to. I have found a lot of posts about DIY PVC overflows and I think the concept is pretty simple but all the posts I have found have been several years old and any images have been removed. Does anyone have some images of one working on their systems? Also some measurements would be awesome?!

My plan was to put it in the first chamber of the BC because it is the only one that the water level stays the same in. Also what happens to the original return pump... can I keep it and have it act as a sort of closed loop just to add some more flow? I have a MJ1200 as the return now and was wanting to run an airline from the "primer" spot on the overflow to a venturi on the MJ so that in the event of a power outage it would pull any air from the overflow and help make sure it doesn't fail on startup again.

Thanks for any help!
