I am currently using a quicksand fluidised bed bio filter in my reef tank but i have noticed the media inside has become compacted over time and the flow and movement of it is not as strong i have cleaned out the power head and shook the tube to try to free it up but its no different and i cant get inside it as its a sealed tube.could the pipes leading inside the unit be clogged and restricting the flow? Anyone know how to free it up?
