Brayden is doing well. The Chemo is a real butt kicker but hes hangin in there.
Hes goes in for round 4 today. This is a 5 day treatment. This one is brutal.

The DH guys were awesome! Brought him some Demon Hunter garb, picks
and a whole lotta love!

It was confirmed today! Brayden is set for 14 rounds instead of 17!
He actually didnt get to start his round today because the hospital
did not have any available rooms. Sad really.... all of those kids
with cancer.

Round 4 down only 10 to go!! Between the mouth sores, nausea, lack of appetite and his taste buds being
all messed up hes having a real difficult time with eating and keeping anything down. Other than that he
maintains a good attitude and does his best to play with his friends. He has to sit out every other round
of hide-n-seek tag but he keeps on keepin on!

Brayden had to skipped last week's round. His white cell count as well as all of his other counts were way too low for treatment. He had to get a couple of transfusions and should be ready to go this Thursday. He is getting ready to start radiation therapy in another week or so. Hes looking at 5 weeks straight of radiation. Yes everyday for 5 weeks. I wanted to let everyone whos interested that he has a Facebook page you can check out for all of the latest happenings and fund raisers going on. Its "The Byrd's Nest" you'll see an icon with a white dove. My wife is very consistant in updating it. Thank you everyone!

Some how missed this thead till now. Vandy is an amazing hospital, I spent alot of time there as a child with heart problems. You should ask them to convert one of the fw tanks to salt who knows they might do it. Hope all is going well,and glad to see that treatments are down to single digits. Sending prayers for strength and guidance from just a little ways up I 40. Wishing Id have saw this thead before now,I'd have come to the prayer service, if you have another be sure to let us know.

I have thought about talking to someone about
a FW to SW conversion on one of the tanks.
I really think the kids would dig that considering
the whole Finding Nemo thing being popular.
We did just go see that in 3-D

Just a quick update and prayer request.
Brayden is set to go in for round #6 this Thursday if his numbers are up.
This is a 5 day stay at the hospital and is a really rough treatment.
He will start radiation on the 16th. He is set to go everyday for 5 weeks.

Pray that his #'s are good, that he dosent get too beat up from the treatment,
that the cancer DOES NOT come back! Full remission, full health and full healing!!
