What does your screen name mean?
It's my last name and part of my old phone number. I've used it since the internet was invented.
How long have you been a member of R2R?
Since June 2011
Why do you like to moderate the forums?
I like helping others with their tanks and issues they may have. I've made so many mistakes with my tanks that maybe I can save someone from the same issues. I also think Reef2Reef is the best forum and would like to help it continue to grow.
What is your tank like?
I have a 4 year old 75 gallon mixed reef tank and a 2 month old 40 breeder in the works. The 75 is primarily stony corals and clams with a few fish I've had for over 5 years. The 40b is still in the works but it was originally geared towards Bubble Tip Anemones but I've since changed my plan to keep a few fish that I can't keep in my 75 like dwarf angels and some wrasses.
What would your dream tank be like?
I always enjoy seeing others large tanks but I enjoy the size and the ease of maintenance on my 75. My dream tank would probably be something big enough to cover an entire wall of a house so it would look like you were in an underwater house. It would be cool to have huge coral colonies with fish I can't keep in my 75 like large angels, butterflies, large wrasses and groups of tangs.
What other hobbies do you have?
Too many to list here! Mainly hunting, fishing, playing guitar, being outdoors.
Anything you would like to add?
It's an honor to be moderator of the month. We have a great staff here and they are always helpful and supportive, to members and other staff alike. Thanks to Rev and family, the staff and the great members we have here that make R2R what it is!
Please help me thank Gabriel for his dedication to the hobby and R2R! Thank you Gabriel!
