Check out the new Saltwater Aquarium Store Database here: https://www.reef2reef.com/showcase/category/saltwater-aquarium-stores.5/

This is still a work in progress so if you see an error or a store that is missing please let us know in this thread. There is also a very detailed search that is being tweaked. Currently all of the custom search fields are mixed together but soon they will only show the fields that pertain to the proper database. That being said there are more database subjects being compiled. https://www.reef2reef.com/search/?type=showcase_item

Members of R2R are allowed to RATE and REVIEW stores with the following requirements in mind:

1. Good or Bad Feedback is ONLY allowed from users who have had a first hand transaction with the store. If proof of a transaction can not be provided then feedback can be removed.

2. Dealer/Vendor and Customer Disputes: This database is not intended to be a mechanism for people to vent frustrations about vendors or sales from private parties. Please settle your differences with the seller, manufacturer and dealer through the long-established legal or arbitration systems or the Better Business Bureau but not through our community. Posting of emails or private messages are prohibited. This user agreement is subject to change to fit the communities best interest.

Someone has to interpret the above guidelines and how they apply to this forum. Ultimately it's up to our site administrator to make this decision. If you have any questions about these guidelines, please feel free to contact us.

This being said we encourage members to post feedback when they are dealing with vendors

3. If we feel that the system is being abused we may revoke privileges of users to view and use the database or remove the database all together.

4. Only R2R Sponsors will be allowed to respond to customer feedback.

Thank you.

Here is a diagram of a few important areas within the database:

1. Showcase navigation link at the top of all pages
2. Showcase search
3. Options to view entries
4. Link to database categories (more coming)
5. User ratings and review numbers
6. Latest reviews

Hmm you should be able to view it. Can you see the showcase link at the top of the page?

Yes we would like to get every fish store and online company listed in this database. :)

Is anyone else having trouble seeing this?

Also take time to go and review your favorite stores!

on my desk top the icons are cut -off/shrunk/minimized...nothing too serious to complain about but it made me shuffle through each logo to see what/who the vendor is...

just a little hard to make them out given the amount on there

I see that too. It is the same as the image you posted, Rev. See how the logos are cut off and the names of the places are only partially legible? Take Blue Zoo Aquatics as an example.

for me, being that i do not recognize each company logo off 1st glance , unless its something like (for ex.) marine depot i will have to go through each item....but again, not trying to stir the pot here but to me, if it was a little "wider" so to speak, viewing the individual vendors would be easier

When you say on the title "Salt Water Aquarium Store" first things comes to mind would be Brick and Mortar. Something I would like to pin on my locations in the case I'm around that area I could visit.

Some of these "stores" listed seem more, garage or online only stores. Maybe a change in the title?
