R90 shallow or r120 shallow?

I need help making a decision on what tank is should get. I currently have a uns 90la aio and ill be upgrading because in simply over stocked like crazy on coral! I fear the 120 is too big for me. How ever im worried if Im all ready spending 3k do I might as well spend an extra 1k for the extra 12" of length? Any one had any issues with tanks this big on carpet? When I first started reefing I know I had a 80 gallon and 32 gallon on carpet with no issues. How much more cost in maintence would the bigger 120 be over the 90? Take me to school guys!

Honestly, I would do the 120. Only reason I'm saying that is more room to aquascape and more water volume for stability. You don't have to pack the 120 with corals either, get what you want and let them grow out rather than having 100s of frags stuck all over the place. As far as maintenance cost... hard to say but there will be very little difference between the 90 and 120. More water during water changes is about it.

Too late :( went r90. Where im living right noe the sapcw is super small. The r120 would if taken up the entire wall giving me like 1" from my TV. When I get into a house next year I want the r150 shallow! So figured save the 1k now and get the r150 shallow in a year or so.
