Rabbitfish Feeding Issue

SonI do have a slight Dino problem in the tank. I borrowed a scope last night and it looks like the type is ostreopsis which can be toxic? Any correlation, etc?

Some would say yes, some would say no. I am a believer that it is no coincidence that my first and only bout with bad dinos were during carbon dosing in 15 years in the hobby.

I wonder if that's what's causing the fish to be a bit sluggish. I should take a look at the nori under the microscope and see if there are dino cells in there. If the food is getting coated I would Iimagine it wouldn't eat it.

That is possible, my fish didn't eat other algae in the tank when I had dino issues. They refuse.

Finally found a food the fish eats. Hikari Marine-s. Goes bonkers for it. Hopefully in time it will start with other foods.

@4FordFamily. I have been holding off dosing prazi because the fish wasnt eating that great. Now that it's going do you think it's okay to dose and the remove 24 hours later followed by a second treatment a week later. I am concerned about the appetite suppression effects of prazi but I guess it would only last a few days.

Yup. No interest at all. Also tried live brine.

My One Spot devours LRS Reef Frenzy. That might work.

So I think I am Rabbit cursed. This one is doing okay just doesnt eat. Got a second one that is in QT for 2 weeks and it wont touch Nori either.
Are scribbled Rabbitfish not real algea eaters or something?

so this rabbitfish now eats everything including nori. It's still prefers live macro and won't even look at anything else if its in the tank. It ate a pound of red ogo in 3 days.
