I have a small frag of Radioactive Dragon Eye zoas that were opening up really well until a couple of weeks ago when they seemed to close up and stay mostly closed. In that time I feel like the stalks have gotten longer and I've noticed a couple of new heads. I think around the time they started closing up I made some changes to flow in the tank, but they're not being blasted by heavy flow or anything - they're on a little island rock on the sand bed and I have various other zoas in similar flow and lighting that are opening up fine.

I'm a fairly new reefer, only 4 months in, so pretty inexperienced with corals but most frags in my tank seem to be doing okay. Parameters:

Temp: 25-25.5 celcius
Salinity: 1.025
Nitrate: 35 (I know this is a little high)
Phosphate: 0.05
Alkalinity: 8dkH
Calcium: 435
Magnesium: 1370

I have a simple system with no sump, just a cannister filter with live rock, mechanical filtration and some rowaphos. I haven't dipped a toe into the dosing world yet as it's a young tank with small frags of coral but I'm doing weekly 10% water changes.

Should I take any action or just leave them alone?
