Hi, does anyone have a blue and a pro together over the same tank?
Currently about to do so but want to know what the spectrum blending looks like? Is there a massive difference and can you tell there are two ‘different’ lights over the aquarium?

I have 7 alternating, 8” over water. They blend perfectly. Can’t discern between 1 or the other.

Here’s a couple of pics.

Perfect thank you! I’m going with just the two over a 40 inch cube so wanted to make sure they’re didn’t look like two separate lights in spectrum

Hello! I have a question. First off beautiful tank. My question is that I'm getting the IM 150 EXT. for 4ft long and 3ft deep. Do you think I should go with 1 XR30 and 1XR BLUE OR 3 XR15 and do 1 blue and 2 pro? Also, are you using AB+ or custom? Thank you!

Thanks. I’d do the 3 xr15s. Gives you more control on spacing and intensity. This is assuming a mixed reef and not SPS dominant. If the latter and the 30” depth, I’d consider 3 xr30s done perpendicular to the tank. I use a modified AB+. I add a bit more white as I am not a fan of heavy blue windex tanks.

I'm planning on a mixed tank. Some SPS and decent amount of LPS and softies. So would you go 2 Blue and 1 pro or 2 pro and 1 blue? I also am not a huge fan of a windex tank. But a tad bit on the bluer side

Go 2 pro and 1 blue. Put the blue in the middle.

I have a 4' 120 with three XR15's. Two G5 Blues on the outside with a Pro in the center.

I have 3 XR 15 blues over a 4 foot tank. SPS dominated.

If I made this 4 lights and alternated blue and pro, are you really able to add enough white with the pros to make a difference or do the blues overpower and you still have a mostly windex blue look?

What if I put a single xr30 pro in the center and a xr 15 blue on either end?

You can definitely add enough white to make a difference. I’ve played around with the spectrums and it can look very white if that’s your preference.
I think the 1 pro in the middle could work but it would depend on the color/spectrum that you go with.
