Just curious to see how often ppl clean their radion lights and do you take the cover out and clean inside throughly or just dust it off outside? Just want to check how often I should be cleaning my lights. Thanks :)

Every three months blow canned compressed air (I cover the tank) to remove dust buildup. Every year remove, breakdown and clean.
Just wondering if it is possible to clean them using isopropyl alcohol or some similar electrical cleaning solution, as an alternative to opening up the covers etc.?
I was recently given a g4 xr30, and a couple of the screws are a little rusted. Rather than risk stripping the heads, is it possible to spray the insides with cleaning fluid to loosen & dissolve muck, and then compressed air to clean it out?
