hi guys in your opinion for my sps dominated reef tank 48"x23"x23" with large sps colony are 4 radion xr15 g5 pro better than 2 radion xr30 g5 pro? In both cases I thought of adding 2 orphan OR3 led bars to the radions. What do you think?

Comes down to personal preference.

I have similar dimension 90g with 2 Radion Xr30s pros. Great coverage, very effective at growing my SPS, and spectacular colors.

Where i can see photos of your reef? Why did you choose pro instead of blue model?

You can replicate blues with pros but not visa versa.

I would take four 15, which I did. It's more versatile.

Hey bud I have the same tank it looks like (minus the spectacular reef) did you make those covers for your radions? I need something as you know it’s blinding at night . My display is in my main living area and I was thinking of a canopy but cans find anyone. Came across this thread and say what you have. Any ideas on how you got those covers, they would be perfect

Getting more XR15s (as opposed to XR30s) let's you spread the light better across the reef. This gives you more consistent PAR, better spread, and less shading.

Here's an article where I actually talked about the benefits of doing this.
