As the title says, I made the change yesterday on my 180(72x24x24). I mounted three fixtures center of the thirds of the tank. They are approximately 10 inches off the water with the wide lenses. Visually I am very pleased with the light spread and the various places I consistently check par. This tank is about 80% SPS. My question for the forum is; I was running my Vegas at 100% on all blues and whites, red and green 10%. That has been the setting for three years. With the rations I feel like a fish out of water. So many options on the scheduling and programming. It seems what I read on R2R people are running them at 45% to 65%. But the majority of these user are coming from T5 or Halide. I would like some feedback from led users that switched to this fixture. Maybe even share your programs.... Any help or opinion is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Cole

What I think you should do is to run the acclimation mode for atleast 2 weeks.
I have no idea what the par numbers you were coming from, but just as a guess, I would start at 50% and go maybe 80%.
Diff. use the acclimation program.

Any preset program is easily changeable, so start with the high growth and change it to your own preferences.

I set up for a 4 week acclimation from 60% to 80% intensity. I am running the preset 20k. At 80% intensity, I am receiving similar par reading but concern about spectrum which so many different options.

Im interested in seeing others schedule for their radions.

Running the Gen 3 Pros my schedule maxes out (and runs for 4 hours) at 60% at 19K with Blues/UV at 100% and everything else at 30%. I have a mixed reef with SPS at top and LPS around the bottom/sides. I would recommend not using any of the preset schedules without tweaking them to fit your tank.
